Her expertise spans across the Asia Pacific and global markets, with a focus on strategy, innovation, and customer experience. Currently, she is Head of Payments, APAC at Netflix, where she leads regional strategy, innovation, and customer experience across more than 12 markets. Her work involves regulatory engagement, third-party partnerships, and cost optimisation in high-growth and complex environments. 

Before this, Shalini spent a decade at Visa, where she held multiple leadership roles across digital consulting, product marketing, and open data strategy. She has consistently driven transformation in regulated industries, enabling ecosystem collaboration across banks, fintechs, and regulators. Her earlier career at JPMorgan Chase, Standard Chartered, and HSBC built a strong foundation in product growth and customer-centric innovation.

At Rise & Thrive, she contributes her financial expertise and passion for equitable access as Treasurer, helping ensure strong governance and sustainable growth. She also serves as an advisor to the Merchant Risk Council (APAC), Ray of Hope, and Dobin, an open finance startup. Her governance experience spans oversight, impact evaluation, and strategic direction across nonprofit, industry, and early-stage organisations.
