Wellbeing Support for Women & Families building Financial Stability & Self-Sufficiency

What we do

Through the Elevating Collective program, low-income families and the social workers who support them are connected to accessible coaching and holistic wellbeing resources. The objective is to expand access to personal growth tools, reduce stress, and promote sustainable life skills that support clarity, informed decision-making, and overall wellbeing. The program also seeks to build a collaborative ecosystem of support—including wellbeing professionals, social workers, and community supporters—to strengthen self-sufficiency and resilience.

OUR AIMS ARE TO CREATE:

  • Stronger emotional and mental wellbeing

  • Increased confidence and self-agency

  • Strengthened family relationships

  • A path out of poverty through self-development

What makes it unique

The Elevating Collective is about making wellbeing accessible and opening doors to lasting change from the inside out.

A Collective Effort

At its heart, this is a community; a collective of coaches, facilitators, and practitioners who believe that wellbeing is a basic need and not a privilege. And a growing network of individuals who are choosing to invest in themselves and their future.

Accessible, Guided Support

Through referrals from Family Service Centres, participants can gain access to one-to-one sessions, group workshops, community talks and events • A dedicated program coordinator supports participants in navigating their journey.

Safe, Aligned, and Trauma-Informed

All wellness practitioners are carefully vetted by a panel of experienced professionals and sign a commencement pledge grounded in ethics, safety, and responsibility. They check in as a group regularly, receive guidance on referring participants to clinical care if needed, and help track participants’ progress with evidence backed measurement tools.

Shared Contribution Model

The shared contribution model builds dignity, choice, and accountability, while ensuring wellness professionals are fairly valued. To keep the program sustainable and respectful of everyone’s contribution Wellness practitioners offer their services at low bono rates and participants contribute a small commitment fee for each session. Participants are ultimately responsible for their success.
