What we do
1-to-1 Mentorship adapted to our Risers’ Goals and Pace
Many women entrepreneurs would like to grow their home businesses, but this can be daunting - especially if you’re also facing financial instability and juggling caregiving responsibilities or health issues. This is where Her Rise Above comes in.
We aim to take the guesswork out of the equation with our module-based mentorship program.
Pairing each Riser (the fabulous women on our program) with a dedicated Guide (our fantastic volunteer mentors), the program is delivered through 10 weekly 1-to-1 sessions and is customised to individual business goals and challenges.
Over the course of the program, our Risers and Guides venture on the journey together with each Guide serving as a mentor, cheerleader, sounding board, ally and advocate for their Riser.
Because alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much!

One of the challenges of home-based businesses is to reach a wider market. Risers are able to tap on the HRA network to promote their merchandise and services. Risers also have the opportunity to be part of our marketing initiatives through social media, e-catalogues and lifestyle events.
-
They say it takes a village to raise a child. The same could be said about sustaining a home-based business. The HRA community grows with each Riser and offers a rich resource for knowledge sharing and collaborations.
-
Risers can draw on shared resources, as well as tap into our strong group of volunteers for specialised support, like legal advice, food photography, finance, accounting and social media management.
