Frances Yong is a cybersecurity and fraud risk expert turned social entrepreneur. After her mother fell victim to a sophisticated scam in 2020, she left her corporate career to launch White Byte, a consultancy focused on digital literacy, scam prevention, and safer online communities. 

Before founding White Byte, Frances was Global Lead of Group Cyber Security Risk Culture & Awareness at Standard Chartered, where she developed risk, fraud, and awareness frameworks across multiple markets. 

Under her leadership, White Byte provides customised workshops on scam awareness, online harms, and digital inclusion for seniors, low-income women, grassroots groups, and corporate audiences.
She is also a Master Trainer in Digital Literacy, recognising her commitment to bridging digital divides in underserved communities. 

Frances speaks widely on cyber integrity and digital inclusion, and has partnered with organisations like YWCA and National Library Board to bring accessible, relevant cyber safety education to communities.
